In order to provide you with better products and services, Elife may collect personally identifiable information, such as your:

• First and last name.
• Email address.
• Phone number (for phone contact as well as for customer-requested messaging services; for example, WhatsApp, Telegram, WeChat).
• Social media login ID so that the customer can be contacted through the social platform of their choice (for example, Facebook, Twitter/X and Taobao).

We do not collect any personal information about you unless you provide it voluntarily. However, you may need to provide us with certain personal data when you decide to use certain products or services. These may include: (a) registering for an account; (b) participating in a sweepstakes or contest sponsored by us or one of our partners; (c) subscribing to special offers from selected third parties; (d) sending us an email; (e) providing your credit card or other payment information when placing orders and purchasing products and services. Specifically, we will use your information to, among other purposes, communicate with you regarding the services and/or products you have requested. We may also collect additional personal or non-personal information in the future.

Elife collects and uses your personal information to manage and provide the services you have requested. Elife may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available at Elife and its affiliates.

3. Sharing Information with Third Parties

Elife does not sell, rent, or lease its customer lists to third parties.

Elife may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you emails or postal mail, provide customer service, or manage deliveries. All of these third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Elife and are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

4. Right to Deletion

Except for certain exceptions noted below, upon receipt of a verifiable request from you, we will proceed to:

• Delete your personal information from our records.
• Instruct any service provider to delete your personal information from their records.

Please note that we may not be able to accommodate requests to delete your personal information if it is necessary to:

• Complete the transaction for which the personal information was collected, fulfill the terms of a written warranty or product recall made in accordance with federal law, provide a good or service requested by you (or reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you), or enforce a contract between you and us.

• Debug the system to identify and repair errors that impair the intended functionality.
• Exercise free speech, ensure another consumer's right to exercise their right to free speech, or exercise another right provided for by law.
• Comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act.
• Participate in scientific, historical, or public interest peer-reviewed research that complies with all other applicable ethics and privacy laws, when the deletion of information may make achieving such research impossible or seriously impair it (provided that we have obtained your informed consent).
• Allow only internal uses that are reasonably aligned with your expectations based on your relationship with us.
• Comply with an existing legal obligation.
• Use your personal information internally and lawfully, as long as it is compatible with the context in which you provided the information.

5. Children Under Thirteen

Elife does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under thirteen. If you are under thirteen, you must ask your parents or guardians for permission to use this app.

6. Email Communications

Occasionally, Elife may contact you via email to send you announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communications.

7. Changes to this Statement

Elife reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes in the way we handle personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account, placing a prominent notice in our app, and/or updating any privacy information. Your continued use of the app and/or the Services available after such modifications will constitute your: (a) acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy; and (b) agreement to abide by and be bound by such Policy.
